In the early morning of Thursday, March 11, students in the Applied Arts and Liberal Studies buildings found themselves wanting to be in hot water. According to a student worker, there was a water main break between the APL and LS buildings.
It was later confirmed by Steve Standerfer, the public information officer, there was a water main break discovered by a security officer around 12:00 in a construction area.
The cause of the break is unknown. Standerfer explained that there was no hot water because they needed to shut down all the water, “Which would’ve affected hot water, as well.”
