NEWS: Rex Parris to serve another term

The results are in and the election is over leaving Rex Parris in office. Winning the vote with 57.3 percent of the total vote, Rex Parris will continue serving as mayor of Lancaster, CA. Other candidates ranked as follows:

Gene Gaynor: 1.9%
R. Lyle Talbot: 2.4%
Arnold A. Rodio: 36.2%
David Paul: 2.0%

Ron Smith won the vote for city council member. Measure M passed, measure C passed, and measure I passed.
