With the NBA lockout still in full effect, many basketball fans are looking for some type of substitute that can hold their attention. Well, starting Nov. 10, the AVC Men’s Basketball team will travel to Ventura for their first tournament of the season. The Marauders will return home Dec. 2 to take on Glendale in the annual Gregg Anderson Memorial tournament. The AVC Women’s Basketball team will also kick their season off on Friday, Nov. 18 in the Vaquero Shootout out in Glendale. They’ll be coming back home Dec. 15 to host the AVC Holiday tournament at 7 p.m. Make sure you mark those dates on your calendars and come enjoy some great basketball.
